Minister: Russia works on damper mechanism for sunflower oil

MOSCOW, Mar 10 (PRIME) -- The Russian government is considering a damper mechanism for sunflower oil similar to the mechanism for the grain exports, Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said at a government meeting on Wednesday.

“We are now working on a damper mechanism on sunflower oil on orders of the prime minister, similar to the damper that we made for grain,” he said.

Damper in grain exports is a regulatory mechanism that will comprise two parts: a permanent flexible export duty, and a refund mechanism for the money collected by the mechanism to support agriculture.
